Refund and cancellation policy
Updated 23 October 2026
How refunds and subscription cancellation will work when paid LessonMint subscriptions launch.
Current status and scope
LessonMint currently accepts no payments. This policy describes our planned paid subscription offer and will apply to purchases when paid subscriptions become available. Free use does not create a payment or refund obligation.
14-day refund offer
For a future Teacher Pro purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the initial charge or a renewal charge, for any reason. This is LessonMint’s refund offer, in addition to any mandatory rights. Requests outside this window will be reviewed for duplicate charges, billing errors, failure to provide the paid service and any applicable legal entitlement.
How to request a refund
Email hello@getlessonmint.com from the email address used for the purchase and include the receipt or transaction reference and the payment date. Do not send card numbers, passwords or student information. Once Paddle checkout is available, you may also use the support link in your Paddle receipt or Paddle buyer support at paddle.net.
Processing and access
For purchases made through Paddle, approved refunds will be processed by Paddle to the original payment method where possible. We do not send separate bank transfers to bypass the payment provider. We will confirm the request outcome by email; settlement time depends on the provider and bank. A full refund ends the paid entitlement for the refunded period and cancels future renewals for that subscription. Your account returns to Free; saved projects are not automatically deleted because of a refund.
Cancellation is separate from a refund
Cancelling prevents the next renewal and normally keeps paid access until the end of the already-paid period. Cancellation alone does not refund a payment. Outside the refund offer or applicable legal rights, there is no automatic prorated refund for unused days. After downgrade, Free limits apply to new generation and saving; existing saved materials remain readable and downloadable, subject to normal retention rules.
Your rights
This policy does not restrict mandatory consumer rights or protections under Paddle’s applicable Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. If a service or billing problem arises, contact us so we can help resolve it.
For future Paddle purchases, payment-related terms will also be governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected. Paddle Buyer Terms · Paddle Refund Policy
